Worship at Warrenton Baptist Church

Sunday School • 10:00 AM
Sunday Worship Service • 11:00 AM

We are a church with a rich history of excellent worship. Warrenton Baptist Church has always valued well-prepared pastors who preach Biblical sermons and capable musicians who enhance our services through hymns and choral music. We seek to be creative and faithful to the gospel as we plan and prepare for worship.

What to Expect

Our Sunday morning activities include a 10:00 A.M. Sunday School class and worship at 11:00 A.M. in our sanctuary. Parking places are available in the paved lot next to the building and in the large grass lot behind the sanctuary across Bragg Street. Visitors can also park along the street on Bragg Street behind the sanctuary or along Main Street in front of the sanctuary.

Our worship is traditional with hymns, choral music, and sermons that follow the lectionary. While some people dress formally for our worship services, informal dress is equally appropriate, keeping the worship of God as the primary focus.

Sunday School

Our Pilgrim’s Sunday school class meets weekly at 10:00 A.M. before our worship service. We study the Bible and seek to apply it to our lives in meaningful ways. The Formations Sunday school curriculum guides our lessons. We leave plenty of opportunity for discussion and conversation as we seek to grow together in faith. We invite you to join us this Sunday!

Music Ministry

At Warrenton Baptist Church, we believe that music is one of the ways that we can connect with God. We use Celebrating Grace: Hymnal for Baptist Worship, and we have opportunities for musically gifted people to sing solos and to sing in the sanctuary choir and in quartets. Our musical groups meet for practices occasionally, in preparation for special events.
